• Names, Addresses and Contact Information of the person(s) placing an order with us.
• Names, Addresses and Contact Information of the person(s) using our services.
• Names (and in some cases ages and gender) of all participants of a photo shoot.
• Details and notes taken throughout a photo session or service provided to help us remember conversations during and details of your session.
1.2 – If you E-Mail us or send us messages via social media, these messages are stored within our email system or social media accounts. These messages are stored for as long as practicable to allow us to provide you with better future services.

2. WHO IS COLLECTING THE DATA?

2.1 – This data is being collected by Beside the seaside Photography. We use a password protected data management software to hold our data.

3. HOW IS IT BEING COLLECTED?

3.1 – The majority of our data is collected directly from you. Whether you fill out a form for us online, or tell us face to face, via the telephone, via e-mail or message.
3.2 – In some cases, data may be given to us by a third party. This includes if somebody purchases a voucher for you – they will usually give us your name and details to allow us to process their order, and provide our service to you.

4. WHY IS IT BEING COLLECTED?

4.1 – Most of the data we collect is solely for the purpose of providing you with a service you have ordered, or had ordered for you.
4.2 – Some of the data we collect is to help provide you with a better customer service experience
4.3 – We are required by law to collect and store certain information relating to any order you place with us.

5. HOW WILL IT BE USED?

5.1 – Data we collect will be used by Beside the seaside Photography to enable us to provide our services and products to you.
5.2 – Contact data (e-mail addresses) may be used to send you direct offers from Beside the seaside Photography about upcoming promotions or newsletters. These can be unsubscribed from at any time.
5.3 – Beside the seaside Photography may internally analyse data for business and forecast purposes.

• Manufacturers (our printing labs) if we are sending an order directly to you from a lab. (Information shared includes Name, Address and in some case e-mail address / mobile number)
• Law Enforcement and Legal Requirements – we will provide data to law enforcement agencies if issued with a court order to do so.

7.1 – We collect, store and process your data in such a way that should have no negative effect on you as an individual.

8.1 – Most data we collect is stored indefinitely. This is too allow us to provide a better service to you as a customer in the event that you contact us again in the future.
8.2 – We are legally obliged to store some data for a minimum amount of time, for example sale order records, payment records etc.

Competition T&C’s

1- The promoter is: Beside The Seaside Photography

2- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom in the Portsmouth & Hampshire area only aged 18 years or over except their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

3- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6- Every entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be qualified as long as all routes to the competition have been adhered to.

7- Closing date for entry will be Tuesday 26th April 2022 after this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

8- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

10- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

11- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

12- The prize is as follows:

The prize is as stated ( A photography session to the value of £69 only * this is either studio or location to the genre of your choice, only in the Portsmouth area for location, The dates will be specified by Beside the seaside photography and the expiry will be 6 months after the competition closes, 27-09-2022. The prizes are not transferable. Only the named person can claim the prize and is for a maximum of 5 persons - additional persons are accepted but will incur a surcharge ) no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

These are chosen and paid for at the viewing session ( around 3 weeks after the photography session.)

Beside The Seaside Photography will also give 10% off those packages and an additional deluxe lustre A4 print for whichever package is chosen.

A deposit of £49 is taken to secure the slot and is deducted at the viewing session.

13- Winners will be chosen: at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents

14- The winner will be notified by Facebook and Instagram 24 hours after the closing date unless notified publicly otherwise.

The winner will only ever be contacted by Beside the seaside photography. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. ( Another randomised draw will be undertaken )

15- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.

16- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

18- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].

19- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Beside The Seaside Photography will judge the competition and decide on the winner by using a randomizer tool from all complete entries via Facebook and Instagram

Beside The Seaside Photography‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

Beside The Seaside Photography shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
