The addition of a newborn baby in any family is such an important, and wonderful experience that deserves to be documented. Once your little one arrives they start to change so quickly, and that first year can pass in the blink of an eye. Your newborn photography session is the perfect opportunity to capture those little details, and give you timeless images to always remind you just how precious and tiny your baby once was.

I have trained in newborn photography and safety amongst some of the UK s leading newborn photographers. You will feel at ease in my studio, where I have created a safe and professional environment for my clients to enjoy.

When is the best time for a newborn photography session take place?

If you are interested in a newborn session, the ideal age is between 5 days and 3 weeks old. Newborns are usually less alert and more sleepy during this time, allowing me to comfortably position them into those adorable little curled up poses without disturbing them too much.

Can I still have a newborn session after they are three weeks old?

Most definitely, although the preferred age is under 3 weeks old, we can still capture some beautiful images past this age. We may just be more limited with the poses we can achieve.

How long do newborn sessions take?

It is important to me that your little one always feels comfortable, therefore you will never feel rushed during your newborn sessions. Newborn shoots can take anywhere between 2-4 hours, and I will always go at the pace of your baby, allowing time for feeds, changes and plenty of cuddles.

When should I book my newborn session?

I recommend you book your newborn photography session after your 20 week scan to ensure that we can fit you in. Reserving your newborn session ahead of time guarantees your time in the studio once your little one has arrived.

How long does it take before we can see the photos?

The average time between your session and viewing your gallery is three - four weeks. You will be shared a link to view your gallery of 40+ images.

Can older sibling’s be in the photos?

Of course! Sibling & family photos are always included and encouraged with my newborn photoshoots. There are no extra charges.
