Cake smash photography sessions are the most popular way of celebrating your little one’s first birthday. This is a super fun photoshoot for both baby and parents! Please note I also offer birthday sessions without a cake, for those who would rather keep it more simple and less messy. Both options are great ways of creating lasting memories of that special day.

All cake smash photography sessions take place at my home studio in Portsmouth, Hampshire UK, which has been carefully designed to include everything needed for your photoshoot.

What is included in my cake smash photography session?

All cake smash photography sessions include a gorgeous and super tasty bespoke cake by The Pastry Corner, Southsea* decorations and outfit all to match your chosen colour scheme. On the day your session will include a mini portrait session to start, the cake smash, and a clean up bath session to end. Please let me know any ideas you have upon enquiry, so we can work together to achieve the perfect set up for your little one.

When is the best time to book in my cake smash photography session?

I advise that you book in your cake smash photography session for at least 3 weeks prior to your little ones birthday to ensure that you get the images back in time. Please note it is always best to book in advance, as I only take a limited number of cake smash bookings. That we can also discuss your desired theme, outfit etc.

My child has allergies, can you cater for them?

Yes, please let me know when booking and I will confirm with my baker.

How long do cake smash sessions last?

Cake smash sessions usually last 1-2 hours, and if you’re lucky enough to have any cake left intact, it’s yours to take home!

How long does it take before we can see the photos?

The average time between session and viewing your gallery is three - four weeks.

You will be shared a link to view your gallery of 40+ images.
